Case = 2

Case turned 2 back in October... and what better way to spend it then with your best cousin. These 2 and their love for cars is way bigger than their love for wiggle works.

Favorite part of this birthday adventure.... Heather's pants splitting right in the crotch. I'm pretty sure I laughed cried.

Can't wait for these 2 to share 100 more birthdays together.

Traditions

Homemade Ice Cream Cake is our family birthday tradition.

And this year...Coaster Boy requested a splitsy.

Cookies and Cream AND Moose Tracks. YUMMY.

If you want to make one...it's so easy!

Step 1: Crush Oreos (bottom layer)

Step 2: Melt 1 stick of butter (1cup) and pour evenly over oreos. Pure delishiness

Step 4: Scoop ice cream over oreo/butter. YUMMY (1 gallon)

Optional Step 5: Drizzle (is that a word?) fudge over ice cream! SO GOOD

Step 6: Top with Cool Whip

Final Product.

Add fun candles.

Or sprinkles.

Happy Birthday Momma!
Not quite sure any of us would do without you. Your love for your kids and their kiddos is out of this world and we are all so blessed by you.
I'm not going to say this year is going to bring the man of your dreams...because I think I jinx it when I say that. So this year will absolutely NOT bring you the man of your dreams.

33 WHAT!

I'm fully blessed. I say this a lot. But it's so true. And there are days when I'm pretty lame and selfish and there are days like today when I realize just how blessed I am.

I love my family.
And Friends.
And my little Lulu Bear and Baby Briggsy.
And my amazing hubby, who is soo very good with crazy me.

This 33rd year of my life, I hope to do the following:

Breast feed until I'm 33.5 (yes, who knew this would be MY goal)
Get in crazy good shape (with Hot Yoga and trying Crossfit)
Eat better (not necessarily cut out chocolate or cookies, but eat more greens and organics)
Read more (yes, I say this every year, but really read more even if it is other peeps blogs)
Walk (I really love to walk)
Read my Bible (I'm not going to say everyday, that would be really hard (for me) and then I'd feel guilty for not doing it, so I'm sticking with reading it more)
Write more letters (send em via snail mail, we ALL love getting good mail)
Wear less high heals and more flats (I saw on the Doctor's show what heals do to your feet, sick!)
Try something new with my career (I'm gonna leave it at that)
Drink a ton of water (less alcohol) I only got one little liver and it's been through somethings.
Get my hair cut every three months (better than twice a year)
Get inspired (by others, reading, working out, singing...be around people that inspire me)
Make things right with my sister (I gotta do this)
Vacation with my family (this is always a must)
Call my dad more (Take. The. Time)
Listen to more music (I used to have music on 24/7...I've lost this a little bit...don't like it)

OK, I don't want to get too carried away...
I can do these things.
I know I can.
Simple.

1 week

Crazy how much your world can change in 1 week. One second really...

This week flew by. I feel like yesterday I was in the hospital...

And now I have this chubby little bundle who smiles at me all day long (in his sleep).

This week my love has grown to levels I never knew it could.

Big Brother

Happy 33rd Birthday Brother. I honestly thought you were 34 today....but then that would make me 33...which I'm absolutely not.

Here's a little bit about my brother...for those of you who don't know him.

He was my best friend growing up. I wanted to be just like him, I wore his clothes...
He got hurt doing just about everything.

• Cut off his fingers in a farm oger
• Split his knee open sledding
• Fell off his bike and got a concussion (but so did I)
• Sliced open his finger with his pocket knife
• Blew out his shoulder playing football

I get introduced as Pat Conniff's little sister all the time. He played football at the UW and started his freshman year. He has a Rose Bowl ring that he never wears. He's humble.
I don't think I've ever heard him lie...joking is a whole other story.
He's mean....he's my brother.
He married one of my best friends.
He likes to dress up like women for Halloween. He is a great uncle. Lulu's favorite person. She loves her uncs.
He's probably the strongest person I've ever known. He carried my dresser, up three flights of stairs...with ease.
Let's just say, I love the guy. He's been a pain in the ass most of my adult life, but can't imagine life without him.

Glad you were born brother.

Lucky # 7!

Dear LuLu Bear,
Today you turned 7. We woke up, had a treasure hunt, opened gifts, went to pancake house, then to build-a-bear...THEN we got our nails did...and FINALLY we went to your party. You are growing up way too fast. You LOVE animals...I mean really stinkin love them. It's one of my favorite things about you. You are awesome at soccer and are a super fast runner. You have the best laugh in the whole wide world. Your smile is huge and so pretty....sometimes I just stare at you and think how blessed I am. You got a new little hamster for Christmas who you named after your uncle. Your best friends are Nev and Charolette. You love to read Junie B. Jones (so do I, she is my favorite). You have a heart of gold. Ari you LOVE cotton candy and candy corn pumpkins. If you could be anything in the whole wide world you would be a vet. You beg me to ride the bus to school and have had 100% on all your spelling test this year (except for one, you missed a period) You are brilliant. Beautiful. Funny. Happy. Giving. Kind. 7!
