Our Nonnie.

I can't imagine these last four days without her.

She has taken my diet of cookies and mini eggs to protein and whole grain.

Our laundry is done.

Our bed is made.

Nursing bars purchased.

House is tidy.

Naps have been taken daily.

Dishwasher empty.

Pillows arranged nicely.

My water bottle is full.

Last night when we were putting Lu to bed, Ari said to Zeb and I. I like when Nonnie is here.

I hear ya kid.

Today...

I'm thankful.
For the sunshine.
For size 7.5 shoes.
For my mom. I don't say that enough...but I'm really thankful for her.
For water (a little dehyrated today)
For Mumford and sons (dorky I know, but I am thankful for good music)
For my job (even though some days I hate it)
For holey jeans and high heels.
For knowing God has a perfect little plan for the perfect timing.
For being motivated this morning.
For mini eggs.
And starburst jelly beans.
For blogs
And for those bloggee's that inspire me.
For photos...
For sporting events
For Coaster to the boy and wanting to always squeeze my butt...I really shouldn't always be annoyed with that. (I am thankful he wants to touch me)
For Fridays and sunny Saturdays.
For spray tans and last minute trips to the sun.
For friendships that stick.
For understanding
For this place.

And I think I'll just stop now...I'm thankful.

I Am Thankful

I am thankful.

For my health.
For little lulu's healthy body and mind.
For Zeb's strong heart and smart brain.
For my family.
For my mom who is so giving of her time.
For everything she sacrificed to raise us.
For her laughter and sensitivity.
For her unwavering love for God.
For my oldest sister, Steph.
For how she inspires me to use my creativity and grow spiritually.
For her family that shows me what "loud" really is...and it's good.
For my big brother who is a great uncle.
For his strenght.
For his wife, who I can't imagine my days without.
For Cole's beepbeep noises
For my dad
For his efforts and his "bug"
For his wife Pat who is so kind and honest.

I am thankful.

For my dearest Meemaw and Jimbo who remind me everyday to live life to the fullest, to end a crazy day with wine, and to love, love, love.
I am overly in love and I am blessed. I know things are sometimes hard and aren't always how I dreamed they would be...but I'm pretty dang happy and so very thankful for the people in my life. For all the little simple things that I take for granted. My car. My condo. My clothes. My endless amount of brown boots. My stinkin phone I am addicted too. This computer. My blog. I am thankful, so very thankful for it all.

...and take way too much for granted.

That I'm still in my jammies. For the three cinnamon rolls that are in my belly. For LuLu Bear. For her laugh. For CB and his cold feet. (not cold feet as in scared to get married, literally his FREEZING cold feet, that he loves to put on me).

I am blessed. Over and Over.

Name Change Alert

Little Life Update:


ari's name change alert: Arianna Joy Blalock. per her request. hmmmm. still pondering this all. i'm ok with the Joy (way better than Joi, not sure which crazy parent thought up that spelling) still thinking about the B part. it's kind of a big deal.

Although I don't have any doubts in the reasoning.

Today, I am thankful for little LuLu. For her love for Coaster Boy. And his love for her. She...WE are two blessed LuLu's.
