I have to say, I got a little emotional during Barak Obama's speach. What an amazing person he is and what an amazing time in our nations history. First Black President. Ari would say brown presdient. I tried to explain this to her tonight and it was challenging. She said, well I want to be the first brown president then. oh her logic and desire to be so big and strong are motivating for me.
I'm not sure if Ari will ever truely know the inpact of this election. how it has impacted so many lifes and that someday she'll look back and see how far we have come and all the progress we have made as Americans. White, Black, Brown, Yellow, Red. We are all loved by one God, whomever yours may be. We are all speaking happiness and joy. That we are ALL human and make mistakes. And that mostly we are the change. We are the future. We are the hope. Yes we can. Now be good, do what is right, love unconditionally.
I don't think this is as much about race as it is about hope and change. That one nation under God, indivisable with liberty and justice for ALL. That makes me proud.
