When your bestie has a baby. Their very first...I can't really describe it. It's like family is being born. It is family being born!  I've been waiting for Suzy to become a mommy for...ev...er. And to see her with little Huds and all the new and firsts she is experiencing makes my heart happy. I love watching her be a mommy and I love being able to experience all the  that mommy hood has to offer together.

We are slightly obsessed with our backyard. I mean, we haven't had one in...um ever, so we want to make sure we get good use of it.

So why not have a little last minute gathering with some of our favs to finish off the weekend.

And what better way to end a BBQ than with a little competition with the boys.

Dudes, can't cart wheel. John was the winner by far...and of course I don't have a pic to prove it {but please note his foot in the bottom pic}.

I love spending time with my besties. So do my kiddos.

One of these things, is not like the other

We took about 10 of these to get the right coloring.

We had to shift some people around....set up different flashes.

Stick the chin out, fluff up the hair.

With drinks stuffed in our coats/purse.

Puffers on.

And our husband avoiding us in the theatre.

We enjoy a photo shoot.

And that is what I love about these girls.

They'll cooperate with me.

Not very often do the six of us (Zeb, Meg, Pat, Heather, Suzy and Johnny) get together just us.

And I have to say, I liked it...I loved it.

Guess which drink is mine?

I love each and everyone of these little ladies in their own special way.

And all the memories this picture holds.

I'm reminded more and more how awesome my friends are.

Girls Will Be Girls

Girls will be Girls...

Which means exactly this:

We all have our issues
When hanging out with the boys, it always best to retreat to another room (with your phones)
Dessert, regardless of the event should be served
Birthdays should always be spent together
Scrabble should always be an option
AND I'm just saying we are as close as we are, because we can be honest with each other.
Whether we want to hear it or not.

Not really a bingo night...

OHHHH YES, Consecutive Self Timer...

Our bingo night turned into a night full of deep talks, vino, sushi, laughing and these two wanting to be my wedding singers.

BFF

This is my best friend. We are in the girl’s bathroom at an Italian restaurant. In the bathroom they have Italian lessons playing on tape. My BF is repeating everything they say in Italian in English. She knows her Italian.

She makes me laugh.

Hard.

She has my daughter tonight. Wonder if they are still awake?

If all my wishes came true

I would be doing this...with these girls....this very second.
