I took this pic of me and Briggs at 3am the morning after he was born. I know I'm not looking too fabulous but it's just a little reminder for me, of that day/night.
I remember sitting in bed, just me and him. It was so quiet and dark, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. I remember feeling so blessed, I kept thanking God over and over for him. He had all his little parts and everytime they told me how great he was doing, I felt so grateful. He was our little miracle. My boy.
He was so new, so little, so sweet and there was something about that night I'll never ever forget.
It's hard to believe that was only a month and a half ago.
He's gone from tiny to chubby.
From dark hair to barely any hair.
To smooth baby butt skin to rashy zitty skin.
From twiggy legs to plump little tighs.
To freaking out in the car seat to only freaking out a little.
To having to hold him to put him to sleep, to laying him in his bed wide awake for naps.
He's been a dream come true for our family.
He's done a little something to us, to our hearts.
6 Weeks also marks another fabulous little reminder. Bow chica wow wow. AND I can start working this bootay OUT!
