you come across someone's blog and you love what they post so much you just have to steel it...so i did. I totally needed to read every single one of these bullet points today!

• Home Should Make You Happy! (working on it)



• We swear by the 3 R’s: repaint, repaper, reupholster (repaint is my favorite word)



• Steal ideas from other people’s houses (huh, I love Lauren's house...)



• Even the insides of the closets & cabinets can be beautiful (so true! redoing inside of cabinets this weekend)



• It’s OK to NOT BE finished (I am never finished)



• TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS—ALWAYS! (oh man...)



• A chandelier is as timeless as a black dress (two in my bedroom, one in my bathroom...i totally get it)



• Renters need not be second class citizens (OR condo owners...reminder to my little miss arianna joi)



• Sometimes your mistakes become your greatest inspirations (so very true...hence my empty silver frame)



• DON’T BE AFRAID TO MIX STYLES (Louis XIV and Eero Saarinen should hang out more often) (although i have no idea who those people are...I love mixing contemporary with
