8 Weeks!

Briggsy.

Holy Moly. 8 Weeks. Really?

We have our little routine down and I have to say that week 8 brings way less fussies and way more smiles.

You are a little big weeny. You have this fake little weeny cry (you also have this blood raising outrageously loud cry). But for now, I think you might be a little weeny.
You are starting to talk. I love this!
And we think we hear a little laugh when you smile.

Your uncle called you a bowling ball, and that is just what you are. We still have no idea how much you weight. Guessing 13lbs.
3-6 months clothes are quite snug.

You love our daily walks.
Your sissy's laugh.
Your birthday balloon is your all time fav thing to look at.
And your daddy's hair.
And of course you love your momma's milky.

Babysitter - Jaime

We've lucked out with a couple a.mazing babysitters and we've also had some duds.

And this year, we've been overly blessed with Jaime. The sophomore at Northwest college, wanting be become a math teacher.

She cleans our house...empties the dishwasher, loads it, folds our couch blankets, plays stuffed animals with Lu, and they bake, and make healthy snacks...Ari said "she's gonna be a good mom someday"

Last night when I got home, this was sitting on my kitchen table.

Full of snacks, lips stuff, hair stuff, kleenex for when BZB arrives.

You name it, it was in there.

How stinkin thoughtful.

32 weeks old!

17 inches!

Your daddy was amazed this morning at how your hiccups are so much stronger than they used to be. I love when he feels you move and says "did you feel that?" He's so in love with you already. We both are.

Your sister is getting pretty excited too, she already has your first girlfriend picked out and really LOVES hearing your heartbeat.

I'm sleeping pretty dang good.
Sugar is still my biggest weakness and your corner of the room is almost done!

My wedding ring is starting to get a little snug. My feet a little puffy and my cheeks, well, ummmm a little full.
And you see the only maternity jeans I'm wearing below (from Sissy) well I ripped them in half in the bootay.



Yep, that is all for you little guy....my little love nugget.

I know of 3 little baby girls arriving in the month of March.

Amanda AKA Beav due March 8th = Girl
Beth AKA Brixen due March 21st = Girl (Hannah Rae)
Andi AKA Jordan's mom due March 31st = Girl

Then we got Briggs.

He's gonna have his hands full. No pun intended...what so ever.

Booby Feeding

I keep thinking about this.

Because I'm a little terrifed.

Because I know how bad it hurt last time with Lu.

For the first month I cried. A. Lot....then of course it got better and the little nugget latched on for a good solid 9 months.

But this time. I'm scared. Really. Scared. 
Maybe cuz I know how it feels.
Or cuz I don't think I'll be able to do it since I had a little boobie job (don't judge).

So, I've been prepping my nips with the nip cream (as Joc suggested) hoping this will help with the first initial suckles.

I'm not scared for this bad boy to come out of my va-gi-gi. But I'm terrified of the booby feeding. And for some reason, whipping my knocker out from my shirt in public isn't something I'm really looking forward too either. With Lu, I could care less...perhaps because I was in Spain and titties where everywhere?

I'm loving

Today, I'm loving these two mobiles.

So simple and dreamy.

I could totally stare up at these and fall fastly asleep without crying {right Briggs?}.

{Instead of the tree branch, I would have a little wire/pole}

Progress

While we are snowed in.

We put together this little ditty.

And ohhhhh how I love it.

And waking up this morning and seeing it sitting in the corner of our room brought a little smile to my eyeballs.

Mattress should arrive this weekend.

I need a crib skirt.

And some sheets and his little cribolia will be done.

Now, on the search for a perfect mobile.

Cars? Trucks? Stars? Rockets? Skateboards?

Must Haves

OK, alright...I just registered.
Said I wasn't going too, but after viewing my friend's registry that was full of only clothes I decided I should go ahead and bite the bullet and register away.

After about 1 hour...I've added three things.

1. Changing pad (travel bed to Zeb)
2. Changing pad covers
3. Multi use changing pads

I'm a super minimalist. I don't like things on the counter. I throw away a lot of stuff...weekly. Clean out my pantry monthly. You get the idea.

So spill the beans. What are your MUST HAVE baby items. A lot has changed in the last 9 years. 

What was it you couldn't live without, made your day easier...baby loved...that kind of thing. I'm not talking about the baby teether or the play mat or activity gym. That is what Lulu is for...:) teehee.

Bring it

6lbs in 2 weeks.

That is 3lbs a week, people.

I asked my doctor if that was a record.

I also realized last night was the first night (since I've been knocked up) that I didn't eat one cookie (or 6), no ice cream, or pieces of candy, not one bite of chocolate, I didn't even have hot chocolate with 40 marshmallows, or spoonfuls of nutela. 
I actually just ate my dinner and was done...for the first time in 7 months!

{I did have a bowl of ice cream and about 6 oreos after lunch though}

So my goal for the remainder of this pregnancy is to eat all my junk before 5pm. So if I want a gigantic bowl of cookies & cream with 6 oreos crumpled on top I can help myself...before 5pm.

I'm hoping that helps my rapid weight gain. 

And since I refuse to buy maternity clothes. This is one of my four outfits that I will be wearing until March 23rd.

Now that the vacation is done. Christmas has come and gone and Lulu is 9.

I'm all about getting your little corner of our room put together.

Simple is all I want.

My belly button popped out. I officialy have an outie.

It never popped out with Lu (I'm sorry I always compare but it's SO different this time)

Briggs got a new shirt at Target.
If all my little dude wore was plaid shirts and holy jeans.
I'de be cool with that.

Waddle?

Today, I felt a waddle come on.

No joke, as I was doing my little walk to whole foods for my Rainer Sandy I was craving, I felt it. A little waddle.

BBB is measuring a week ahead. So he's gonna be large. Hopefully he'll have Zeb's little noggin though.

Here's to 24.5 weeks, measuring 25.5.

My poncho is making it hard to see the little nugget. But he's there. In full "measuring a week ahead" force.

Baby Bumps

I will never take a photo in the morning again (like I did for 19)!

The last couple of weeks my belly has really popped, ok I've blown up. But the coolest thing is, we can see the little dude moving all around from the outside. I can't eat as much as I was...kind of a bummer. My lower back and butt bone are getting achy, I kind of feel old.

Half way there. Slowly but surely.

From the very begining, with the correct weeks. My pictures seem to be getting closer...
