Remember, to listen...don't talk too much to your neighbors. Always tell the teacher you like her shoes, or shirt or whatever it is that looks nice on her. Be patient. Know that sometimes girls can be mean, and that just means they are jealous of something.

My Snugs

I got a little call from Ari's counselor...it made me a little nervous.

But the news was good...nope, it was great!

She won an award! It's a big surprise and they are announcing it in front of the whole school on June 16th, her very last day of 1st grade!!

I got teary. She is my little "bucket filler" and she fills my life daily with giggles and thoughts and ideas...and animal impressions.

I love being a momma. I love watching her grow into this kind little girl with so much sparkle in her eyes.

She is something!

Nailed It

Ari brought home her 1st Grade pictures yesterday. She requested a side pony on picture day which made me a little nervous. However she pulls off a side pony like no other 1st grader.

I love this girl SO stinkin much.

Some 1st Grade Updates

Waiting for her first bus ride. She LOVES riding the bus. Although the bus driver was a bit out of sorts and said he was going the wrong way....she had a fabulous time.
